Ceremonies used to take place once or twice a month on the date the cemetery was selected. But since 2006, the families of the deceased have been able to choose the date. They can conduct burials even on Sundays or holidays, which is much more convenient for them. The people at the Dae-jeon cemetery think about what they can do best for the families who lost their loved ones. As many as about one million visit the national cemetery almost every day annually, not just on Memorial Day. Employees at the cemetery help visitors to pay tribute and have a good time.
